Exclamation Update!

I just heard back from the supplier. The Taiwanese distributor has agreed to sell him the lights! There are some minor delivery details that are being hammered out to ensure they are not slapped with a 650K fine like APC was.
He is currently looking at booking a flight to Taiwan in the next few weeks! I will keep you posted!

Exclamation Cost Change!

The anticipated delivery date of the lamps will be late October early November.

Unfortunately, the recent increased cost of travel and shipping, have to be reflected in the pricing of the product. The price of the E-spec kit is now - $470US (9+ orders $425US)
The High Output relay kit is still $45US.

Please re sign up if you are still interested.

Well, I must say that certainly blows. It's quite a ways from $350 to $470. It goes from pushing the budget to blowing it wide open. I mean, that's a pair of Azenis difference. I'll have to think about that.

As long as more than 6 people are still in, the price difference is $75 from $350 to $425. I am just trying to get a new head count.

The payment will be need by mid-october

My HID's in the Focus cost almost this much, these are just e-codes.

I can't afford to spend this much on a second car, as much as I want to. I realize the situation is beyond your control. I see you're mentioning someone flying to pick them up. Can't they just be shipped instead?

Lights

You realize these E-spec lights do not meet SAE or DOT certifications, right? You've heard about the fine that APC received for selling J-spec, E-spec and other non-certified lights, right? 650,000.

Manufacturers now won't ship non-compliant lighting.
Wholesalers from overseas now won't ship non-compliant lighting.
Someone wanted these lights, and it seems that this guy's going out of his way to get them for you, at risk to himself for getting non-compliant lighting onto these shores. He's obviously got the way-of-the-week figured out if he can offer you these lights. Going overseas and bringing them back is probably the safest way with the least amount of time the customs people can spend with your stuff.

Customs people are opening envelopes looking for non-approved pharmaceuticals. What's not to stop them from looking in a box?
There's risk involved... getting them through customs.

Cheers to the fellow for going the extra mile to get these lights for his fellow enthusiasts.

Lights

I'm still trying to make this work.

I have 6 88/89 323 sets, 6 90-92 (square) BG sets, and 6 93-94 (slant) BG sets.

They sit waiting to get shipped.

3 people have paid, and sadly it's a TON to get them shipped here. I need to have payment for 14 to cover my costs to get just the lights here, then it's building harnesses, changing connectors on the corners and populating them with bulbs.

I can get MX3 Euro lights for 300USD a set shipped.

Your money is held in trust until we make this work. I've issued two refunds for those who couldnt wait.

Should I return all the lights, I'm stuck paying 20 percent restocking charge, and 40 bux a month for storage of the lights in a warehouse - so over a grand.

Shiiit ....

What do you have to rewire and what kind of bulbs do you use ?
How much for the 9004 -> H4 converter ?
How much for the High Output kit ?
Where do you get 100/135W bulbs ? ( Are they just H4s ) ?

Thanks

Wiring

Different connectors for lights required.
Different connectors for corners required.
Adapter harness for lights required.
Bulbs.

Relay kits if required dont go from the North American to Euro/Japanese lights - THEY must be rewired.

HO Relay kit is 45 if ordered with lights - comes with 80-100 or 100-130 bulbs depending on availablitiy.
