the ST bars are still being prototyped, so exact pricing is not available yet. I hope to have the first front bar prototype by the weekend. The rear bars are a little ways off, like maybe a month.

Exclamation IMPORTANT INFORMATION: PAYMENT

Well, i stopped by the shop today to drop off a few things and to my suprise, they were making bars!!! I wasn't expecting anything until i atleast paid him some money. Which made me feel good that he feels he can just start making things and getting materials. The guys are very cool!

So, when i said i "might" need a 50% down payment from you guys, well, i infact do need it now. I had a very hard time cutting a 4 zero check tonight for the first 20 bars....

So please, i need some help here. All i ask right now is $75 and the balance due when the bars are shipped, which could be as early as Monday!!!!

Please send your Paypal payment to email <automedia@mail3000.com>

If you need to send a Check or Money Order, please PM or email me and i'll send the info.

Another thing, i will have a solid quote for the Black Chrome powder coating tomorrow night, but ball park is $8-10 per bar.

Darryl, I sent you the $75.

Put me down for the powdercoating on the tie bars, but not on the front strut bar.

Also put me down for a non-powdercoated rear strut bar when they become available.

Thanks for doing this group buy dude!

Exclamation UPDATE

I made another drive by tonight and all the rear bars are completed and ready for powder coating. The front bars need to be sent out for the mandrel bends and depending on thier workload, could be completed by the end of next week, powder coated and all, ready to ship the following Monday. (hopefully that saturday, so it dosen't kill my whole lunch hour )

Re: Powder Coating

Small color change. In order to keep costs to a minimum, i had to go with a different color than Black Chrome. While still very close, it will be a Metallic Grey. In order to have Black Chrome, i had to buy a batch of the paint (or powder, or whatever it is) I was under the impression it was already in stock, i appologize for this....soooo i had to choose a color that WAS in stock. Also, with the Black Chrome, there was a clear coat process, which pushed the price up....

The price is now confirmed at $24 per kit, or $12 per bar. BC would have been $35 per kit, and i felt thats just too much. They will also go through a sand blast process prior to coating, so it will be a long lasting and a good looking part for a long time to come. This particular Grey is very durable and the sand blasting ensures a really good bond.

Re: Front Strut Bars

Once again, these will be a one piece design, and made for racing They will also come with the same matching Metallic Grey powder coating. The first Prototype should also be done by sometime next week, or at latest, early the following week. I will then test fit it and also test it under racing conditions the following weekend (6/28-29) Once it passes the test and fits perfect, production will start. I realize the price may be initially kinda high, but these are custom one peice bars, made from scratch and in pretty low quantities. But i garauntee it will be a great part, both in looks and performance.

Powder coating for the strut bars will be $24 each. Exact same process as the tie bars. Bar pricing is yet to be confirmed, but once the first prototype is made, i will get a price posted ASAP.

Re: Rear Strut Bars & Engine torque Braces

When the front bar is all tested and production commenced, i will start to look at the rear bar and the torque braces. This is comsuming alot of my time (and money) right now, so i need to slow down a little bit. But i have big plans...Stay tuned

thanks for all your support!!!!

the Bars will be ready by the end of the week. I can't wait to see how they look powder coated, i'm stoked on this.

Please guys, i'll need full payment by Friday. I have only gotten a few payments so far and those were just the $75 prepay. For those that did send the $75, your balance will be $125.

full kit powder coated = $200 shipped in USA
full kit unpainted = $180 shipped in USA

front bar powder coated = $117 shipped in USA
front bar unpainted = $105 shipped in USA

rear bar powder coated = $100 shipped in USA
rear bar unpainted = $88 shipped in USA

It's pretty tight for me to put up all the money up front to make these, so help a brutha out. If you signed up here, step up...please.

Thanks.
