1st Gen Lower Tie Bars -- Official Sign Up

Hey Guys,

This is the new Round #2 sign up thread for my custom lower tie bars. As soon as i have atleast 8-10 ppl, the bars will be built and shipped. Pricing will depend on the orders, so the more ppl the better. Initial pricing is $210 shipped in the USA for both front and rear bars, last time with 15 ppl, i was able to offer them at around $150-170 shipped.

The Bars are 1" OD, 4130 Chromoly with smooth mandrel bends (front only, rear is straight) and Mild Steel welded endlinks that allow the use of the factory bolts, so these bars will be direct bolt-ons. All professionally made by Boeing certified welders. The bars are also very lightweight.

All info can be found here: http://www.mazdaracer.com/pro/perf_products_tiebars.htm Please use the form as well as posting here.

thanks.

Here's a question for you Darryl - do you think the front tie bar will interfere with a ST front sway bar since the ST is an add-on "under" bar? That upgrade's on my radar scope sometime soon.

Mahahaha. Aye, I will.

I believe with this one, I'll just put it on for races however troublesome it might be. I just don't like having to slow down for small bumps during the daily driving.

I'll land up getting a hold of a strut tower bar to help stiffen her up topside. Better than nothing, I say.

There's no conflict between the two parts. I've had them both since Darryl's first group buy last year.

I'll do what i can do help with shipping and customs costs for our Canadian and overseas members.

The powder coating is merely a guess at this point ($25 per set) but that could change. I am dropping off the bars to the shop tonight so they can make the tooling and templates for the run off. I'll really only know exact costs when i know how many bars are to be powder coated.

I also may require 50% of the cost as a down payment to get things made, as i requre to give the shop a 50% payment to start. I just can't afford to pay upfront for (an estimated) 40 bars...

new list
5 + 1 maybe

Protoss (1 TB kit)
Beachnut - Scott (1 TB kit + 1 ST bar)
Jordan (1 TB kit)
Zenilder - Bryan (front TB)
Happydog2 (front ??)
? Bizob - Bob (1 TB kit)

Happydog2, is that a front tie bar or front strut bar?
