I just bought an '03 ESSA from Sunflower Mazda in Olathe, KS. I opted to have the $2000 rebate check sent to me instead of the dealer taking it off the price of the car. They were real vague about how long it would take to get the check--probably somewhere around 4 to 6 weeks. Mazda Corp. told me the dealer would use a vendor to issue the check and they couldn't help me with any info. Anyone else get the check sent directly to them? How long did it take? Need to pay taxes and get tags!!
