Mazda6 just made it one of the seven final of the Car of the Year Award in Europe. I found that out from a russian website, www.autoreview.ru , and according to their pole, Mazda6 is in the first place. If Mazda6 can pull this off, it will be a big success for Mazda!

 

I just got this in the email. Even though the European Car of the Year votes are not complete yet, Mazda 6 won National Business Review Car of the year award. This is only a sign of better things to come from Mazda.

 

There is something wrong with the Europeans. They chose this fungly thing you call a car:

over Mazda6!

I know that exterior was not the major category in the voting, by the ways Renault Megane took 322 votes, and Mazda6 was 302 votes, but I am sure that Mazda6 could whip that silly Renault hatch in every category. I think the Europeans were jealous, and were to trying to improve their own market. Though it is my opinion, and I think Mazda6 is a much better car then Megane.

 

"car of the year" award is all politics, dont mean crap anyway.

BTW, that Renault is FUGLY!

 

Politics or not, who ever gets the title, gets to brag about it for a year, thus increasing their sales. So you know what that means - more of them FUGLY Renaults out there (Nissans don't count)!

 

Anybody stupid enough to buy the "car of the year", just because it won "car of the year" deserves the ugly Renault.

Most people are aware that its a bullshit award, believe it or not, and I dont see it affecting sales all that much.
