I just saw one in the flesh for the first time today in Toronto.

 

Morries had them last week. I saw them the day after they took initial delivery (weds?) I even saw a couple take delivery of one, (the first evidently) They are quite nice. BTW all the RX8's were MTX.

 

What's the sticker price on those bad boys? CDN price would be even better.

 

Yeah, drove a red one two sundays ago. Sweeeeet car. The ones the dealer had on their lot were in the low 30's USA ($50,000 CAD) range and the salesman said that most come well equiped and are in that range.

Wish I could live with a small two-door and had an little extra money.......

...oh-well. Love my PR5.

Just did a quick look on mazda.ca... MSRP on a GT is $39,595 CAD

 

You can get the 6-speed with 18" wheels for $27,000( USD), that's what we paid.

 

We got one today at our dealership and I had to PDI it , it was an auto but I like the paddle shifter , man does it handle nice.

 

According to the Mazda Canada web site they are starting at:

$36,795 for the GS
$39,595 for the GT

Canadian Dollars. Sounds like a sweet deal for the car you get. Although there is a year and a half waiting list at one of our dealers already.

 

Damn, Joe Myers here in Houston has an abundance of them. I haven't went to look yet but I heard there is a pretty steep markup on them right now. They have maybe 5 sitting out front of the dealership. Probably at least one more inside. Supposedly won't let anyone test drive them (I wouldn't either ).

 

I saw one on the lot at my local dealership. It was gon in a Half hour!! I did not even get a chance to take a look around

 

At Morries a week later and all the ones that I saw there were gone! The first shipments were preorders and whatever ones dealers are able to keep probably sell really quick.
