Post Hey has ne one seen the New Mazda Protege 6?

if so ne thoughts on it? if not you should check it out on mazdas home page it's pretty sweet, nice fast car for it's size. I love the dual exhaust on it!!!!

The 6 is not the Protege, it's the replacement for the old 626. The Protege will be called the 3 when it's redesigned. Mazda3, Mazda6. Get it?

Been there, done that. Drives like a grownup Protege. The interior is the problem. Feels cheap, even on the V6 models with leather. Neither Toyota or Honda's interiors feel that cheap, but the fun just isn't there. There have been a couple sold here already (starting 2-3 weeks ago), seen them driving around on the freeway with temp tags.

my local dealer has got a couple of them. they look great. i had seen the sedan and wagon models in august at laguna seca.

Test drove one for the hell of it the other day. Tons of fun, even though I drove a 4-cyl. automatic. The engine sounded great, much more sophisticated than the old 2.0 in my Protege.

Contrary to what someone else said, the interior was gorgeous. I haven't seen the new Accords interior in person, but it felt like much higher quality than most cars in it's class (including the Camry). Of course I've never liked plain Toyota interiors, so...
