2005 Mazdaspeed 6
I was reading the newest issure of SCC and came across this new mazda and heres what it says "Virtually nothing is known about this car, but the deep front air dam and massive intakes led us to believe that thers some forced induction wickedness afoot. our guess is thers a supercharger atop of the regular Mazda 6's 3.0 ltr V6 pumping output up to something like 275hp, hey it might be a turbocharged version of the 2.3ltr four too, but those Twin Over size exhuast pipes in the back probably mean its a V6, we also hear it is All-wheel-Drive and a six speed, the Mazdaspeed 6 should be hitting dealers sometime during 2005" has anyone else heard about tis car??

p.s. the first thing to do would be to trade someone those 18" wheels for a nice set of 16" wheels and watch your Hp/tq go through the roof. Also your quartemile would go from a mid 13s to a low 13s

It's surprising that Mazda is releasing a Mazdaspeed product to the US market for a model they have no intention of phasing out in the near future. Previous US-market Mazdaspeed products were the swan song of whatever platform was in its last year of production...
The Mazdaspeed Mazda6 ought to be a killer car, no doubt about it. Even a fairly stock Mazda6 is a kick in the pants to drive, compared with other midsized cars. Why would you ever buy a Camry when you can have one of THESE!
The other one that's got my attention is the new Subaru Legacy turbo. Wow. It's faster than any previous US market Legacy, and this one's actually not half bad looking, either!
