2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege Pic

Scroll down about halfway through the following link to see a picture of the slightly updated 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege and a brief description. This picture seems to coincide with the reports that Mazda will expand the MSP colour selection to Grey Titanium (and also Yellow) next year.

This van is sweet!

And the MSP looks mighty fine (still)

But I really like the Trailblazer SS, looks freaking tough!

I gotta admit that Yellow Accord Coupe is nice. And how about those 350Zs.

so thats the 2003.5 mazdaspeed, different from the one already coming out, whens this one set to arrive, and other and interior and slight exterior mods, is it adding more performance?
price range close to 22 grand US, is what i'm guessing. and its still a limited freakin car...tho thats probably a good thing.

...what to do what to do... i know for sure if the whole mazdaspeeds keep coming until at least 2005, 1 is mine.

Those Civic SI are nice, but weren't original just slap on a Civic Type-R bodykit and voila! This was done to both Si.

One thing I hate about Mazda is that it refreshes it's cars too often. I mean its good to innovate but it may hurt existing buyers feeling their car is already old and outdated. One of the reasons why MB, BMW,etc go through model changes and facelifts slowly and gradually.

I know the Protege is no BMW, MB, etc but even cars like Civics, Corollas do not have so many facelifts and "special editions" as in the case of Mazda Miata.

While trying to make the new customers feel special, they effectively made existing customers feel much less "special".

Just my thoughts.

what the heck are you talking about??? I still love my OLD 2000 Protege just as much as the first day I bought it

I see the frequent refreshes as Mazda's attempt to keep things new and interesting throughout a product's lifecycle. Why buy a 2003 Protege if it's EXACTLY the same as a 1999 one??
