possible intercoolers

I am going to get my bp turbo as soon as Braden can get a hold of one which would problably be next week. Any ways i know that i can use some intercoolers off of other cars that would work just fine. What are the possible cars that i can take the intercooler from? i know this has been discussed before but was not able to find any info on it. I really want to avoid spending $1000 on a intercoler i would rather go to a junk yard and get one for $100. Your help and ideas are really appreciated

ps getting pretty close to crunch time (bpt)

jay1.8T (possible name change)

A Starion or Izuzu NPR are going to be your best bets. They run about 100-200 bucks. Check DSMtrader they have starions there all the time for 125.

That Starion is a Mitsubishi car, dodge had a twin...can't remember the name. Look for old Turbo RX7 too.

There are companies that build radiators that may be cheaper...I will get a name for you of a turbo developer here in Texas that fabs all his intercoolers

I wouldn't use an FC intercooler, as there not very efficient. If your going to all the trouble of piping etc, might as well put a halfway decent IC in there.. I'd agree with the about Isuzu NPR or conquest tsi/starion IC. Can usually find both on ebay for 100-150.
