Thumbs up P&P Heads Available

BLT coming through again with more performance parts for your ride! After a few designs and plenty of dyno tuning we've finally come up with the perfect Port & Polish job for the BP DOHC heads.
Our cylinder heads come complete and ready to bolt on!

They come completely cleaned, magnafluxed, ported, polished, and with a 3-angle valve job. With the options of upgrading to heavy duty valve springs or 99 miata cams/solid lifters.

We offer both N/A heads(BP-05, etc.) and Turbo Heads(BP-26) with this setup. This is perfect for those who want to pickup the power that is hidden inside the poor design of the GTX head.

We bolted a P&P BP-26 head to a gtx motor and were able to pump out 210whp @ 8.5psi!! (With a haltech) With the stock BP-26 head we were making roughly 180whp @ 8.5psi. I have not yet dyno tested one on an N/A car, but you can expect good results with the 99 cams in there.

P&P, 3-angle valve job is $600 + core.
The upgraded valves springs are + $100 and come installed. These are good to 8500rpm.
The upgrade to 99 Miata cams and lifters is undetermined at this time but somewhere in the road of +$400-500 for the extra work involved with shimming and the cams.

This upgrade is one of the best available if you want an increase in power across the board. Combined with our T3 upgrade kit you will see over 300whp!

Available now!

ZL-VE, nope, going to be a bitch to source just that....

Protejay, no problem, I will have one available for you whenever you are ready. Whats nice about upgrading the head is that you can check your pistons and cylinder walls to gauge how your motor is doing. You can also clean all the pistons to almost new look and help drop compression back to normal.

Why would you want to drop compression? At least NA.

BTW, how did my old motor look inside?

LoL, thanks bro but DD costs more than Paypal in most cases. We have longblocks here as well that are buildable. The heads are available whenever you'd like, we have about 2 sets of heavy duty springs left, after that they are a bit harder to find.

how bout this????

Do you guys do "crate" engine type set-ups??? Like say I ordered a BPT (GTX), P&P w/3angle, heavy duty springs, BPT turbo upgrade kit. Would you guys send me the engine with all of that already done to it and ready to run??

That can be arranged, I currently have 1 gtx motor available for that setup. It should be gone rather quickly. Contact me via AIM at TurboProtege or via e-mail at braden@barelylegaltransplants.com and we can talk more about what you would like.

Here are some dyno sheets of the P&P Setup.

This is an MX-3 with the P&P Head with stock cams, 550cc injectors and a Haltech E6K. The baseline is my car tuned at the same boost level.

This is just the one with the P&P head.
