A few NITROUS questions

OK, I've been looking around at performance stuff and was wondering how many of you guys us nitrous?

What kinda kits are out there?

But most seriously, what are the long term conceciqunces of using nitrous? will it damage the engine at all (short or long term)?

Besides adding the nitrous bottle and peraphenilia what other things do you need to do to the engine for it to work properly?

thanks in advance

check some of the other posts on here about NOS and what it can do and what people have done to there cars to help them run better with NOS, but I will tell you that they do do serious damage to the engine. Especially if you are running a dry kit. If you are going to put NOS on your car at all use a WET KIT ONLY. They are much safer. We blew the engine in our 2002 ES by running a dry ZEX kit. If you hit fuel cut off while hitting NOS your engine gets straight NOS and will get very hot and do lots of damage. You will need to retard the timing on your engine to make it run a little richer if you're running a dry kit, but on top fo that you've still got to watch out for fuel cut off. Trust me on this one and think about it twice, but if you do decide to go with it, go with a wet kit!

Hey...I have a NX kit..it's a wet kit...and all i can say is that people who have used dry kits..have usually purchased a new engine...
