EGR tube

OK everyone my turbo kti will include the EGR fitting but I have a question to ask you all. I am thinking of not including it on mine and plugging off hte EGR tube and making it look like it is connected to the manifold so can pass inspection. DO any of you think that I would get any check engine lights or anything like that if I plug it off??
