BPT engine swap?

BPT engine swap?
Alright, Im a proud owner of a P5... but like the rest of us Im sure I dont like the 130 horse power. I was thinking about buying the bpt engine for my car. Since I have about 3 years or 50,000 mile warrenty on my car it seems okay... as long as I can keep my patience . I was thinking of purchasing the engine, and parts over the time of my warrenty... as soon as it goes the engine will be put in. BUT I need to know if I will have to put in some extensive fabrication to put this engine in.... if its not worth it Im not gonna **** with it, but if it is.... then this baby is definatly going in. Anyway, let me know if you guys find anything out... I have been looking around at prices and applications. PLEASE PLEASE gimmie your thoughts and any knowledge you have. Thanks in advance.

This subject has came up a few times already in this forum. Everytime PseudoRealityX tells us that it isn't possible and then explains why that is. I can't tell you those reasons but I'm pretty darn sure that he sait the BP engines can't be swapped into the Pro5.

Good point. To sum it up, it is possible as CorkSport has done it. It isn't easy or cheap, as they don't recommend it. By the time your 3 year warranty is up, there will be a turbo kit you can buy for the FS engine you currently have.
