engine swap

I have a question for you all. Im looking into swapping out my 1.6 for a 2.0 engine and I saw some guy on Ebay selling his for 300.00. I e-mailed him and asked if the swap could be done and this is what he said:
Yes this engine will bolt into your car exactly like it bolted into this one. The 2000 and 2001 are exactly the same. This should be among the easiest swaps and should be rated as a 1 as far as difficulty is concerned.
. Is the guy right or is he ripping me off?

You will need alot more then just the engine to do that swap.

At least one engine mount will need to be moved/modified, you will need the ECU from the 2.0 engine, different bellhousing on the transmission to mate with the 2.0, different gearing for the transmission because the gearing on the 1.6L engine Proteges sucks and wouldn't work well with 2.0 engine, and there would be many electronic issues to address, for example note how the MAF sensor and air intake system is considerably different between the 1.6L and 1.8L/2.0L engine.

In short, it is cheaper to buy an ES and sell your DX/LX, if you are going to consider an engine swap on your car, or go the turbo route.

Here is the link to the auction, which has all the details and what not: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2425501480[/URL]

Does that sound any better, as far as the engine swap is concerned?
