Get Ming (http://www.mingshine.com/) there rust proofing is a
wax based coating sprayed through the factory holes in your side pannels etc, its gauranteed for 7 yrs not to have any internal rust and is a one time aplication. Plus there undercoating is guaranteed for life, they also do rock guard and there ming shine rocks, having it all done to my car. it is a tad more expensive than most but you get what you pay for.
But MP5 is right wash it frequently in winter, But Dont EVER use a preasure washer! It just Blasts the salt and sand in behind the moldings and aids in the sand paper efect, plus the bushes in the do it yourself wash bays are full of sand and also aid in scatching your finish. Use a gental flow of water from a hose and a sheep skin mitt gently and clean the mitt often, takes longer but keeps the salt and sand out from behind the moldings.

That sounds like a raw deal, 7 years? The factory warrenty is 5 years. Go to Krown, they warrenty everything below the window line for life, and it is transferrable. So if you trade it in, you can get most of your money back by selling them the warrenty. about a 100 a year for the spray. Cheap insurance if you live in canada. especially Ont.

Stocker.

well the ming shine rust proofing is only 300$ every 7 years, and the krown cote is just over 100$ every year. HMMM would I pay 700$ for 7 years or 300$ for 7 years.
Ming also has the same warrenty, and upon reaplication b4 the 7yr aniversery its 300 for another 7 yrs (or going rate at the time).

Maybe I'm just cheap that way but the 400$ difference is a CAI for me.
Thanks for the info though, gave me a good oposition when haggling with the ming guys.

About the rust proofing, I didn't realize you could redo it ever 7 years. That sounds like a good deal, I also quoted the 100 in cnd dollars, so it is more like 75 amer.

As for the door locks, I lowered the front door locks cause they were sticking me in the arm every time I tried to cruize with my arm out the window. Irritated the hell out of me.

Here is the thread on how to do it.
door lock mod

Cheers
