It is illegal in NY to have any tinting at all now, the only thing you can have is the strip along your windshield. Trust me, I have 20% all around and got pulled over. He let me go, under the assumption I would take them off. YEAH RIGHT!

I checked up at a local place here, and I was told $150 to get my Pro tinted. This includes 5 windows (2 on the backseat doors, and the Rear Window). Is this expensive? (Canadian Pricing).

Also, I'm not sure if you guys are aware, but if anyone here uses a cell phone in their car a lot, getting your car heavely tinted does reduce the amount of signal you will get towards your cell phone. The Oxide in the tint does block RF signals.

$150 Canadian sounds CHEAP. Make sure of what film they'll be using and how it gets installed - read the above posts.

Well there is a place where I lived called RIchmond Automall, every single car dealership is in this mall. The store is the only auto detailing place located in the automall. Mazda takes ALL Their vehicles there to get any afterbody work done on the car, including the tinting. I know about 5-6 other people who have gone there, and no problems. They guarentee their work if anything goes wrong with the tint, they'll fix it no problem.

nightowl: cell phone signals travel horizontally, not vertically. So unless you're planted right under a cell tower, it won't make that big of a difference (plus not everyone has sunroof, like me!)
