Weird thing when installing groundkit

After installing my groundkit, I hooked up my battery with the new battery terminals from Knuconceptz. I hooked them up and no horn blasting that I anticpated. I opened the driver's door to see if the lights were on the interior which they were and saw the LED blinking fast (indicating the alarm was triggered). I thought I blew a fuse on the horn because I hit the Lock button twice and no comfirmation beep of the horn. I opened the door and manually unlocked the rear passenger door and armed the alarm when finally the horn kicked in and started going off. No problems since then, but I was shocked about the horn taking time to go off. Tonight I plan on taking it for a test spin to check on light dimming. They were slightly dimming before, and I am hoping that is the end of the dimming days. Looks good too! I used a medium see through type of 4 gauge wire throughout for a total of 6 grounds. I used blue because I am looking at possible dressing the engine with chrome and blue parts.

Install looks good, redid the stereo presets and whalluh. I can't wait to do some cosmetic stuff to the car. The stereo sounds great. I am going to get Blue LEDz to build a ported box for the subs for a little more deep end (even though it's pretty loud right now)! Now I can focus on exterior mods. I doubt I will go with any body kits or so. I'll drive this car a few more years and then get a pick up or SUV. It was hard departing from my old SUV. Even though it was significantly older than the purchased new Protege ES.
