Question Water in the Hatch?

I have noticed water a few times in the rear hatch 'well' by the left rear corner...

has anyone else had this? Fix?

what kind of protege do you have, i've noticed water in the trunk of my 2000 pro se too so maybe its a common problem...

Yeah, I noticed this while cleaning my car out last week. In where the jack goes on the right side and in the hole on the left side, although it was cold out, so it was ice, but still....

Manufacturer defect maybe..... when i checked under the car and where the water was i could'nt see any wholes.... anyone know of any fix for this or what it could be?

Check the bumper brackets that are located below your tail-lights. If the car has ever been hit from the rear, the bumper bracket will bend forward and break away from the top. This will allow water to travel from behind your tailight directly into your trunk.

yep i noticed this problem i had it fixed at the dealer my uncle is a top manager so i got it done for free but its the seal around the hatch atleast it was for me....good luck
