Talking washer led wiring..

okay heres the deal..

I got those blue little leds for hte washers (my g/f really wanted them) and well I am planning on wiring it all this weekend and jsut wondering if anyone knows how to I know the basics of hooking it up it's really easy for that but hte wirign is funky... and all the instructions are NOT in english none, no english..

okay from the led it has a white and a black wire, and waaaaaaaay down the wire ti oes to black, white and red.. now I have a theory.. is hte black ground (duh) red power and white to a switch?? like have hte red to a constant power source and then jsut wire the white to a switch to control it??

and anyone know the best place to wire it to?? switch or to the lights or what??

well thanks!!

I know that it's pretty simple to do, but as I am not sure of which color wire is which I'd suggest you do a search on the forum as I think that I've read about this on the forum.....

Use a switch if you want to turn them off when the cops are looking at you. In the US, blue is a bad color to have as it is a police color. If it is OK to have blue in Canada, don't worry about a switch and hook them up to your parking lights or headlights.

Lightbulb

I did it myself without knowing how to but, I figure it out somehow. I cant tell you with what color goes each one because I had to put new wires to my corner and turn lights, what I did is wired it up to the corner lights. I did it on a 626 wich I left them still when u turn the Lights on, also on my Protege on the corner light but this time I set them also to Blink when I put my Turn Signal or the Hazards.

You have to wire them to the "ricer" control box, located behind your Altezzas. Should have a lot of vinyl on it...

HAHAHA yeah, that's it, all rice accesories must have a central rice hub, or they will never work.

I would definitely wire them to a switch, because you don't want problems with cops and why give them a reason to pull you over. If they are wired to your corner lights then you would have to turn your lights off at night to turn them off. Switch is the best option.
