has anyone done any tpye of install with xbox or ps2 in their pro yet...im considering it and just wanted to see what a ballpark cost or how it went. any ideas or suggestions would be great. thanks

XBOX/PS2 - $200 (or 300 if you bought PS2 awhile ago)
monitor/flip out screen - $150 > $1200
12v to 120v inverter - $50 > $300
FM modulator (for audio) - $20 > $40 (if existing aftermarket HU has an AUX in, then disregard the FM mod)
professional install - $150 > skys the limit

you should be able to do every yourself. Check www.partsexpress.com for FM modulator, LCD, adapters, ect. Good luck!

Thats my whole system with indash Alpine TV and DVD with Xbox mounted under the driver seat.

Yes ive recently installed my PS2 in my car. I have all the cables and wiring, Including PS2 under my passenger seat. its facing th rear so the cd bay can open. Looks cleaner in appearance too. I had to buy a(n) power Inverter. This allows u to use ur cig lighter to hook up a regular plug. (ac). Then i had to get some sort of audio setup for the sound. Im currently running an RF modulator. This is just like settin up a aftermarket cd changer. You have a pre-set station, 88.7 or 98.1 i think it is. and when u have that station on, u can hear the sound from the source.

After that jus get an LCD monitor (tv), run the power wires to a switch, then to the batt. ( include the pwr wires to the rf modulator as well, this will let u be able to turn the tv and modulator on with ONE switch. not 2.

*Note. if you leave the modulator on..with no switch, it may cause static in the speakers and sound.


Very easy to install. I did it all and hid all the wires in bout hr and half. Ill post pics soon.

But you can also put X-Box or Game Cube instead of PS2 and run the setup the same.

well i have a am fm cd tv player with the fmmodulator and the tv modulator all i had to do was get the inverter to plug it in thats it i put it in and take it out as i please it lookks hott too im thinkin of sellin tell you the truth?is a6''kenwood excelon 907v with the fmand tv tuner and the antenna for the tv with the ps2 the inverter all that **** im thinkin of sellin i want a regular radio is why perfect shape is touch screen u can see it my pics r in www.gsxr750.net clickon the tampa mazda web site and see joel's car u can check it out
