Tinting

Hi ya'll! I am getting my windows tinted on Saturday (bright and early grrrr......) and I was wondering how dark I should make them? I know that I'll be making the front ones a little lighter (it is illegal in Michigan to have the fron windows tinted) but I was just wondering what you all think. Please let me know.

i like tinting that's uniform around the car. the lines just look cleaner. i find that when a car is only tinted on the back, my eye is drawn right to the b-pillar and it disrupts the flow of the car. it's even worse when it's the gradient mirror tint.

i did mine 35% all the way around (except windshield). tint on the front is illegal here too but you can very clearly see me so i've not caught any grief from the cops.

there's a fellow here with limo tint all around and he's already been pulled over.

i wouldn't go darker than 35% on the front and i'd try to keep the look as uniform as possible around the car.

this is all i've got for a pic. it's early evening so it looks quite a bit darker than it does in broad day light.

Check my Avatar! Unedited pic taken in broad daylight. It's actually quite dark, but yet not dark enough to get much attention from the po-po. (I have 35%.)

I had mine tinted about 3 weeks ago. I went 20% all around. Looks very good if I do say so my self.

Thanks for all the help guys (and ladies if applicable). The 35% is a lot darker than I originally thought. hmmmm.... My friend has different levels on the front and back windows of his SE-R, and it turned out nice. The difference isn't even noticable, unless you are really close, trying to see the difference. I think he did 18% in the back, and 31% on the front (the store has some weird numbers LOL) If I can scam a digital camera from somewhere, and some webspace, I will take some pics to show ya'll how it turned out. after I get it done of course

Thanks again for your help.
