For those with the OEM Alarm...

I bought my car with the OEM alarm, with keyless entry, the panic and light button on it. Unfortunately the previous owner only had one, and now it had broke.

Tried new batteries but still nothing, the alarm sucks, but I like the keyless entry. Does anyone know what Mazda might charge for a new transmitter, or if they have to reprogram it??

thanks-

ebay had these for 10 bucks. u can open them up and change the dip switches or pots (depends on the type of remote, they are either dips or pots) to the same as your current remote. if you can't do it yourself you can have the dealer do it for 10 bucks or so.
