Thumbs up Compustar...

Out of all the 2-way paging alarm systems, this is the best one...

The Compustar Spread Spectrum with up to 1.25 miles of reach. It uses 900mhz and it actually works!

Thumbs up Compustar

When it comes to 2-way security systems, nothing is better than the Compustar. The Aladdin looks and feels cheap in comparison. DEI is coming out with a 2-way in late October, but it still years behind the Compustar. Their system only transmits up to 1/2 mile range. None of them (if I remember correctly) do not have illuminated display, try looking at your phone at night and youll see what I mean. If I'am not mistaken the Compustar will start at $400 installed without a car starter and maybe about $600 with a car starter.

One thing i wish my alarm had was some kind of pager system. An alarm is kinda useless unless you can be notified if someone is messin with ur ride. And the only way i find out if something happened to or is happining to my car is if i hear it, which works fine if im OUTSIDE within a 100ft radius of it .

Thumbs down

I got a Viper 550 ESP in my Honda CR-V (dont laugh, family vehicle) and I can't start it from inside my work building. And if I try I do not have an idea if it even started. The Compustar will tell you if it started or not.
