Strapping it down?

You could use L Brackets and small screws so that you aren't drilling to far in to the trunk's floor. Where exactly in the trunk is the subwoofer? If it is right above the gas tank then you want to be very careful not to drill in to that.

Does it fly around the trunk or are you afraid of it tipping over? Typically it is better not to mount the sub so you can access your spare tire and be able to move it if you need cargo space for extra goodies you may get at the store. If you insist, then there shouldn't be a problem if you use small screws to hold it down, yet not drill through something important. If you smell gas you gone too far!

I don't think it will tip over, i'm mainly worried of it sliding around. One time i opened up my trunk and it was all the way on the other side, (good thing i had long cables) so that's why i was wondering what your suggestions would be. I think i'll try the rubber bottom first. Thanks for the help guys.

I didn't think of rubber pads, but that would probably do the trick. That and stop hugging corners!! That is the way your tires go bald or at least mine are wearing down from hugging corners, not peeling out. Peeling out not only ***** your tires up, but your clutch too! I learned that with my first car as a teenager. Any way, way off the subject, try his idea. I can lend you a few that aren't expired yet. HA HA

No problem man, here you go: (bungee cords, thatīs it )
I put it in the middle bcause itīs were it sounded best but you can put it wherever you want to and facing any direction, thatīs one of the great things about the bungee cords.
Itīs the best compromise between form and function IMO, you donīt have to drill any holes, it keeps the box from moving under any situation (unless you rollover or something) and itīs very easy to remove/put back in, it takes about 10 seconds.

Itīs not a show car so I really donīt care how the trunk looks, I only care about the SQ. Keeping the cargo space and spare tire are also a priority.
To me it looks ok, if I take the bungee cord of it almost looks as if it were part of the trunk because itīs the same color as the carpet. I guess next time I should spend my money on fiberglass and plexiglass instead of quality equipment .
Oh, and Iīm proud of it btw.

one word Velcro!
one side or the other should grip the carpet in your trunk which ever side does put it on the bottom of your box. you might need to staple it or screw it to the box, I don't think it will stick to the carpet very well
If you need to move it just pull!
