stock HU removal....this way

Well i was attempting to get the stock head unit off and i followed Sir Nuke's thread, but i just couldn't get the ******* thing off. So i just used a 12" long wide-head flat screwdriver....When i looked at the radio there seemed to be a small gap that runs vertical between the radio and the dash so i just stuck the flat head in the right side gap and pryed and the one side came off with no trouble...I pryed the left side and boom the radio was off. Nothing broken either. Now i did have the "u" shaped wire on either side but i wasn't handling them...i just put them in the holes. If you are going to try it this way just tape up the trim around the radio and that should protect it.Let me know what you guys think?

First Lift These tabs off, use a small flathead on the top part of the tab.

Insert the two u shaped tools in these holes(2 holes on each side don't worry about the one in the middle)

Here is a pic of the "U" Shaped Tools

This is wear i stuck the head of the screwdriver. Just make sure it is a flathead and long enough to give you leverage.

this is the screwdriver i used

This is what the clips look like just for reference.
