stock cd/ line in?

OK i just took out my stock cd player and saw that it had no RCA inputs on the back (of course). it has the factory audio harness. is there any way of getting a LINE IN into it? I have prtable mp3 player that I wanna plug in but dont really wanna buy another cd player with RCA lines. Any hope?

I'm going to solve the "problem" by buying the factory tape deck eventually.
I think it's 180 bucks online or I'll just use my "points card" I got with
purchase and get installed at the dealer.
That way I can get a tape adapter and just plug my MP3 player and or MD
player when need be.

Cheap way out? Or expensive way out? Your call.
At least it will eliminate the silly *** "multi-function audio system" plastic panel.

I asked the same question before & someone was going to look into it for me but haven't heard anything since. If you take the thing apart, the CD player is seperate from the "amp" unit as it's what Mazda calls a module audio. Might be easier just getting some high-low converters & tap into the speaker wires. Dunno, anybody else shed some light?
