I doubt this spoiler will properly fit a 1st gen as it is made for a different year Proteges.......

Hmm, it may. I have both models of protege. I'll measure and compare how the width would work. Seems like a good price.

I think trunk measures up, but i would still go for the european or the canadian Spoiler. or goto www.spoilers.com and get a universal one. Be a lil cheaper then gettin an oem one, unless u can pull some hookups!
