i have 6.5''s up front in my 97' lx, and the one on the passenger side sounds blown out, but im not sure if its that..or if its hitting somthing to cause the sound. should i just take the door panel off? thats what i was feeling like doing.

yup. take the door panel off. that's the best way to determine if something's hitting.

i've been rattle hunting all day. it sucks.

I've seen tinsel leads on the back of the speaker cuase this also so if you take the door panel off and still hear the rattle it may be that.
