Sidemarker turn lights and installation

Does anyone know a shop in Calgary that would install brand new side marker lights?

I bought the side markers that are/will be on 2002.5 P5 and now I need someone to install them; the dealership can't. They don't have the templates to do it.

Boo Hoo they don't have the templates.....damn dude thats a lame *** excuse. Shame on that dealer. Any good audio shop or alarm shop could do the installation. The hardest part is getting the fenders cut properly for a good fit.

anyway, i have a hot-to on my site here if your up to doing it yourself. The templates are easy to make.

The dealership can't do it. The lights themselves cost $45 for the two. I'll find out from an autobody shop or something like that and let you know when I get them done. I'll take pics when I get the lights done too.

From what I understand is that they can be removed, you don't need to replace them. Someone posed the same question here somewhere. I wish I could help more but the answer is here, somewhere.

you'll find a few threads if you use the search function. but IIRC the japanese RX7 sidemarkers are a direct fit and are clear.

yes, i'm sure there is a way to get them off, i'm not familiar with the newer Pros, but there must be a flexible tab or some type of tab that must be released from behind the fender, as they are pressure fit into the fender from the outside. I'm sure someone will help you out with how exactly they come off.

Help mazdaspeedwest!

Hey its the side marker kid again. I was wonderin, i was browsin ebay for the rx7 sidemarkers like you said. i noticed its pretty pricey for just those small lights. The lights fit a 93-95 rx7. Are these the right ones? Heres the link for the ebay site

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1852759875 .

I dont wanna purchase anything before i get a greenlight on the OK! Are these the right ones? and is it possible to get them for any cheaper? Thanks a lot!
