Yes momo's are really nice. I bought one for my friend's xmas gift. It was a pain to get it on but it came w/ rubber sleeves that slides over the threads and then you use the 3 allen screws to align and tighten it. Feels awesome when he let me drive the car.

I've just bought the Momo Aluminum kob and boot. I'm not quite sure how to take off the original stock boot... Can someone give me directions? There's no instruction menu comes w/ the boot...

yea its pretty easy to get the boot off. take the shift **** off first. there is a plastic piece around the ebrake that you can pull right out. its clipped in and comes out easily. theres 2 screws revealed after you remove this piece. then theres 2 screws right behind the seats on the sides of the center console. the last screws are at the front, on the sides of the center console, underneath of plastic covers. take off the little covers, without breaking them, and then take out those screws. with these 6 screws out, the center console will come right out. then you will see how to take the boot out.

mazda speed ****

I'm all about the carbon fiber. =)

The only thing that kep me from getting a mazdaspeed **** was the fact that its not made of real carbon fiber, only having the look that eventually might rub off.

Everything else in my interior is the real deal, so i ended up getting a razo ****. looks nice. =)

The two companies that i know that make a short shifter are pace setters or RVM. i think if you go to nopionline.com they might have one there around 100$
