Man I had a problem with my car making a squeaking noise inside the area where my deck is. Anyway I finally resolved it by removing the void of space directly beneath my radio. I guess it's some sort of compartment for like three cds or something. My point is I lost the compartment somewhere while trying to noise-proof it and now i have this gaping hole beneath my radio! What could i do? I thought about getting a double deck radio but i don't think they're "in" anymore. What's a guy to do?

Check Crutchfield.com - there are double DINs and the new nav systems need 'em too.

-or- a DIN EQ?

I made a blank plate out of AL sheet and put a Mazda decal on it.

If not - they have the blanking plate.

Hey I found the box btw. It was in my trunk undrneath a bunch of copper tubes i get from work. So, no more situation! Oh and I also soundproofed it.
