No, if you look at SedanMan's pictures of ProtegeKing's old indiglos....see the two square cutouts under the tachometer?? Then if you take a look at mine, there are no cutouts there.

 

i see i see. I just checked procarparts.com and it says the reverse ones are only for 99-01. If im not mistaken, arent the 01 and 02 the same?

Basically, will they fit on my p5?

blupro5 , I havent seen any that have cutouts for the sport shift. but my knowledge is pretty limited in this "department" haha.

Are you still happy to have joined the reverse indiglo club even though they cover the fuel light and gear lights? IMO I would still have them even if I had those lights on my 99 LX.

 

YES I still love them. The lights are not that important anyway. Now if they covered up the odometer, that would be another story!

Yeah, they will fit all 3rd gen's. The gauge size, fitment, and markings are the same. The fonts will be different though. If you have a Sport Mode auto on your new Protege(5) then it will cover up the LCD display on the left cluster.

 

you can take an exacto knife and cut out the rectangle for the gear indicators though, only for reverse though cant do it to the indiglos or normal ones. but with the blue you kinda want to replace the leds dispaly to a blue one, VERY VERY hard to do, im still working on it, and expensive little parts. anyways, good luck man. hey guys those guages looks pretty cool...i got the old ones and i think i had it for like 2 yrs now...since my car is automatic i just cut out a square and it was ok..imes the 6 color deal and since when it was made with holes so small i had to cut it and kinda mess it up cos it kida show the cut but im thiking of either going to stay with the old design or hit and change to new ones...its really cool..wish the new ones has 6 colors too..hehe...
