retro lip

i know this has been thrown back and forth for as long as i have been reading the board. there is no lip other than the austrian one out there that can be bolted to the pro. has anyone tried retrofitting a civic/accord/camry etc carbon lip or anything to their car with any success? i see tons of lips on ebay for like 50 bucks, and if someone tries it, i think we could all get one. i just don't want a wild body kit, and i don't want to go the junkyard route. seems like there has to be a car out there close to the same dimensions....any takers?

There was a guy on here with a black sedan who made his own lip and kit, and it looked tight as hell. I tried searching but I couldn't find it. I do remember it though, it was the nicest Pro I've seen.

Foxymazda is trying to put a Civic front end onto her Protege I believe. Try PM'ing her.

yeah, i tried the tsunami lip on mine, no dice. but i think maybe an accord or later model lip might fit. those carbon fiber ones look dope. i dont really want to do the junkyard lip (even though his did look awesome) because that is way too much cutting and pasting...

ill talk to foxy and see how her's is coming along. but if anybody has a spare 100 bucks those cf lips on ebay look pretty close to our cars.

this dude has a J-Spec front lip from Asia. I'm also interested in finding a nice front lip for our style pro. The black one other people are talking about was from a Grand Am I believe. Looked ok but nothing to go crazy over IMO.
