i took the roof rack off and pu the replacement parts on that came with the car, but i am not diggin that either...can you take all the ish off and just have the two black slider grooves??? i saw a few pictures like that.....is it safe to pop all that extra stuff off??? if anyone knows please let me know...thanks

I'm not sure if you can remove the black runners with out having holes in your roof. as for the ones you've seen with out it the P5 in Canada has no Rack. Infact the U.S. is the only place to get them.
