A possible way to get your clear corners?
Craigrrrp and I hooked up for the first time yesterday....he has an LX...I have a P-5....he looked at my P-5 and said "you took the yellows our of your corners!" I looked at his LX and noticed that the corners were yellow in the light fixture...mine are not...then realized I have yellow corner markers down on the fender....the LX does not....then looking closer I showed him where although the headlight fixtures look the same shape...they are different internally....the LX has a single headlight (combined high/low beam) where as the P-5 has individual lights....but without measureing .... the housings look to be the exact same size/shape.....sure it would take some wireing changes...but has anyone ever considered doing this swap? putting the P-5 head light assyemblies in the sedan? OR, IF the two fixtures are in fact the same shape...why not just get the new o-rings/gaskets and outer fixture covers from a P-5, remove the sedans light fixtures....pop off the outer covers...and replace them with the covers from the P-5...presto changeo you have clear corners on the sedan....and then just change out the bulbs. I don't know what it would take to REMOVE the yellpw part of the sedans light fixtures......I was just more thinking out loud here.....FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

The Man, I made that observation, that they are different and even stated that it would take a wiring change to do it....I was asking if anyone had done that swap.....I was just courious.

Yes a few have. Over on protegemp3.com [sorry to be mentioning another board], there is a guy that has it done to his MP3. Looks alright but I much prefer our single lamp lights. I just think it looks nicer at night.
