Clear Corners
#2
Hey man!
If you are from the USA I would go to www.procarparts.com. I'm from Canada and bought mine from there but I ended up paying a lot for duty and shipping. They were called Diamond Clear Corners and were about $50.
Click on my WWW link or go to www3.sympatico.ca/jon.wilson to see a pic of them installed (if you click on the thumbnail image you will see a larger picture).
It takes about 5-10 minutes to install them. Just open the hood, get a philips screw driver and take off the screw that is holding the corner lense bracket. Pull the corner lamp out towards you and disconnect the wiring harness ..I think there is a little clip you push in as you pull on the harness. Grab the clear corner, plug the wiring harness (plug) into it then slide it carefully back into the car. Put the screw back on and you are good to go.
If you find that the orange bulb is reflecting on the chrome inside the clear corner and you think it's ugly, grab some high heat silver paint and VERY LIGHTLY (so you can still see a little orange through the paint) dust the bulb. That way it will reflect silver on the chrome corner lense when the bulb is off but still shine amber when it's on. You'll notice in my pic that you can't see any orange reflecting from the bulb.
Good luck,
Jon
