Posting Pics
njaremka,
I PM’d YANGU23 about the pictures, haven’t heard from him yet. My available web space is very limited, about 2mb available. If you have more than that and it has easier to access maybe you should post them. I think the ideal place to post the pics would be TheMAN's web site FAQ: http://web2.airmail.net/emann/protegefaq/

Those are the pics of the Mazdaspeed bumper and side skirts form the ww.croksport.com site. Mine are on order and hopefully I'll have them in a few weeks.

biknman>>i spoke to frosty about his cams (the man>> he definately has a zm1.6l o.k.) and this is what he told me
<<Well sort of.They are definitely not made by Mazdaspeed!!!!!!!!!
I spoke to Graham at Japanparts & he confirmed my fears.
During the take over of Mazda by Ford they outsourced their **** to some tuning house. They are to some sort of sports grind proposed by Mazdaspeed but made by someone else.He could not tell me who or what so I'm now totally in the dark!!!!>>
so thats that in terms of cams...however a regrind may provide similar results anyhows.
i saw frosty at the drags yesterday and the best he managed was 17.9...so he was pretty dissapointed with his result...but he is working on a few tricks...
i reckon the best way to go is prob to turbo (plenty of room in the engine bay)....what do you think?

Yup that was what I was thinking, Barely Legal Transplants has a group buy going on 1.5L turbo manifolds and supposedly after their ready they are going to start work on the 1.6L and 1.8L manifolds if this happens I'll turbo charge the 1.6L. If not I'm doing some sort of engine swap next winter. BLT needs only five of us 1.6er to confirm for them to make the manifold also there is a deposit of $200.00 USD too. E-mail Braden B from BLT at turboge@yahoo.com you want in.

I may have missed the thread about the manifolds... (i didnt read all the way through this one either) but what is the total on the manifolds? you said deposit is $200. If this is an option... I may go this way instead of swapping the engine.
