hey, do flat piston subs save space? or does it need more for the excursion? well, i have a lot of time to contemplate this as i won't have that kind of money anytime soon.

Those subs are interesting.

It's good to see companies (like those, and the Blaus) working toward saving space with the subs. So many people hate the idea of a bulky box/sub combo, they just forget about installing a sub. Now with the shallow depth stuff, long thin boxes can be made. These things will really expand the installation options, and may allow more people to own quality subs.
