I'm Impressed

Just got finished installing my Pioneer DEH-P6400 and I must say I was quite impressed. I did not think the stock speakers would sound that good. Makes me wonder why mazda didn't spend the $50 more it would have taken to put a decent stock HU in. So I guess window tint is next, then the speakers, then the intake... Uh ohhh... this is my wife's car...... for now.

i love my deck its great!, i had it powering the stock speakers for a while and i was also suprised at how it sounded. i woulda gotten the DEH-7400 but i got the 6400 for $360CAD. the normal sale price was $425 so i got a good deal, kinda..

Hey what speakers did you go with, I really have no Idea which ones would work well. I'm not really interested in an amp and sub so I would like to get the best all around performance from just replacing the four stock speakers.

Have to agree with you. I just installed my Pioneer 9300 and the sound difference is amazing. Stock speaker have been replaced by some cheap coaxials that I am not allowed to mention (right Grim013). They will soon be replaced by some Focals and soem JBL amplified power.

already got 'em...165V3 for the fronts (polyglass) and 165hc for rear (polyflex) These should be fine for my setup. I like the utopias too, but didn't want to spend that much $$.
