Question Painting "M" on Front Grill

I know ive seen pics on here when someone painted the "M" on their front grill. I would like to see how it looks again and know what had to be performed to make this slight modification, also what kind of paint. I did a search and found nothing, so please help me out. Thanx

I painted mine gunmetal. Pretty easy to do, really. Take off a few screws that hold the top grill on. Once you have it removed, you'll see a few pins that come through the back of the grill that are attached to the logo. Pushing on these will pop the logo off. The emblem is simply attached with two-sided tape. Paint the emblem whatever color you wish and reattach.

I "gunmetallized" mine, too - but I just pried the thing off carefully - no need to remove the grille, IMO. Mine came off just fine.

Hey - who you calling a bastard? J/K!!!

Got the pics now - your grille looks schweet.

I'm working on a possible painting mod of the front grilles of my P5 - not mesh, though - and not a full painting of the whole grille. It's tough to explain, so I'll leave it at that. Plus, I wanna be the first to see my idea done!

I have to do some inspection to see if I can do it like I did on my Camaro years ago - the 'maro came out sweet as hell. It's a subtle look, though.

I'll definitely post any pics if I get around to doing it.

You're probably right, squintz.

Dammit - why do some people have to have such good memory banks?

Nah - I don't care anyway. I just didn't feel like going into the details.
