terrible idea ... it's irreversible an usually comes out poorly

Yes, I agree. I've done it. It's a hassle and comes out like shit. I had it down to a science and it's still stupid looking. Don't do it.

I painted all the plastic pieces to match my Sunlight Silver exterior. Takes a while to dismantle the doors and such but it turned out pretty good. I'm going to redo it with paint that is actually the same paint code as the exterior because i want it to be a little more metallic. Sorry no pics and its hard to notice since the 2003 P5's come with the pieces already painted silver...go figure.

I agree. It does usually end up horribly. Trust me. I am instead going to save up the money and get the fiberglass look done.

it looks good if you can do a good job or you get it done by a professional. When done right it looks great.

Hey MIA, are you planning on going with a fiberglass look? That is what I want to do, and then get my seats upholstered and a carpet kit.

My current car has the center console and gauge surround painted and I think it looks great. I had it professionally done, don't think I could do nearly as good a job.
