Painting caibers
#2
When I painted the calipers on my Miata I took them off, soaked them in simple green, used a wire wheel brush attachment on a dremel tool, and then used ford red engine paint (spray form), hung them up using a wire coat hangers, applied 3 light coats, let it dry overnight, then put it all back together. The paint can be purchased anywhere. The engine paint is good to 800 degrees, be careful not to get the stuff that requires baking after application since you will not be able to bake all the caliper parts in an oven or kiln. The finish is glossy and looks outstanding against the silver borbet wheels and slotted and drilled rotors. Just take your time, the prep work is the key. Good luck.

Dude $48 some dollars for that kit is a rip off Just go to pep boys and get heat resistant spray paint(what ever color you want)about $4,$5 , some brake cleaner, about $3,$4, and your set.
clean your calipers, then spray paint into cap and use a nice size paint brush to paint away. (good idea I also got from some guys on here)
