I painted my interior trim with gunmetal, if the reg. paint does't work you can always buy wheel paint. Thats what i did i got it from checker's, and the wheels are bound to get hot anyways right? So i'm pretty sure that it wwould hold up. By the way i'm sure it looks really good in the sun.

It's cool. I'm a little sensitive because I don't want it to peel, and the thought that it might is more than I can bear!

Seriously though, I don't want to take my headlights apart again, so I hope that it works out ok. I definitely would recommend using hi-temp paint, because better safe than sorry. In the end, I'll probably have to redo it (knock on wood). If someone comes out with projectors, I'll probably get those instead.

Your lights look killer.
In case you're looking, you can get a real HID kit(ballast and everything!) on ebay, just type in "hid" then go to "highest priced". They run from about $200 on up. If you go for it, you'll definately want high temp. paint!

Yah, HID's look great, and definitely work great, but I wouldn't want to risk the fix-it-ticket. It's more than a little obvious when you have them!

Thanks! Yeah, the car is lowered on Eibach Springs. I'm usually not a huge fan of the gunmetal thing either, but the color really works with the midnight blue. The machined lip really helps the wheels to stand out.
