P5 - AT shift ****?

Hi,

First, I want to say that I'm new here and I'm very happy to have found this discussion board!

Now, here is my problem. I have an automatic transmission 2002 Mazda Protege 5. I want to change the shift ****. I went to a car's part store and the guy told me that since my button to change gear is on the side, only the shift ***** that have a button on the side will work for me. I was upset because I wanted those where the button to change gear is on top of the shift ****. My friend told me those might work also, so I'm really confused right now. Can anyone help me?

And also, can anyone provide me a site that have shift ***** that work with the P5? Because i'm a newbie to cars and I really have no ideas which one work for me or not.

Thanks a lot

I know you can use the ones with the button on top. there is a member on here who has installed a momo, and I have seen quite a few who have installed the Razo ones with the OD button.
