I too am interested in doing this...since MackDadam brought up the idea

I have a couple of questions to ask reefruner5, if you don't mind answering them...

1.) How hard was it to do?
2.) How much did you end up spending? Including the shaving of the old antenna & painting.

Thank you.

I think that the sedans and MP3's would look sooo much better with the rear antennas. And I could always help supply the antennas!

how can you supply the antennae, can you get the oem parts? there is also a ton of other stuff i want too. i knew i wasnt the only one that thought that about the antennae, now we just have to find out how to do it. i wouldnt even really care to shave it, maybe just have someone make a little cap to put over the old one.

wassup guys, sorry it took me awhile, please accept the deepest apologies, i am now just emerging from the depths of a weekend that included, drunkenss, hospital visits, and hookups, and none of them had anything to do with eachother....ok on to wat i can answer.

the antenea i got from mazda, its the P5 antennea, and P5 base, cost like 80-90 bucks, my advice on this is get the base from mazda, and get the antenea itself off of ebay, u can get anyone that fits like a VW or audi, (im 90% sure on that, im sure a million people on this board can tell u the truth on that)

the shaving cost me 50 bucks, but i got a hookup on that, so i dont know how much it really costs, tommorrow im gonna try to get some pics of the car, but i dont know how that will work out, if u have anymore questions feel free to PM or IM me

http://www.promazda.com/request_form.htm

These are antennas that I make personally to fit the Pro5 and I also have some hook ups on OEM parts. I'll call tomorrow and post a price for the Pro5 antenna base that you'll need. The rest is just simple wiring.

I can get the Pro5 antenna base for $40 shipped anywhere in the US. Prices on my antennas are on the website I posted earlier. PM if you are interested. I know that this would look 1000 times better.

HOLY **** THEY LOST THEIR MIND!!!!

My boyfriend is getting his car painted as speak. He is turning his car into a show car... anyways.. we went to the paint shop the other day to check the progress on his car so i asked the guy about fixing my bumper and doing the antenna.. he said he go do my bumper for about $250... THEN for he antenna .......
He quoted me between $500-$600!!! My mouth dropped to the floor!! are you ******* kidding me.... he said cuz he has to paint the whole roof and the side panels... that 500-600 is on top of the 250 to fix my bumper!! I said nevermind...thats what i get for asking a professional paint shop.. apparently these guys are soo good they have cars they painted in magazines..

for those of you that have did the anteanna.. how much did the bodyshop charge you? thanks
