ohm?

What does this mean on the power ratings. It will give 4ohm and 2ohm ratings.

ohm is a mesurement of resistance.. at least if I rember my electronics classes..

they had me kicked out of electronics class cause i would shoot 6 foot sparks going from station to station and my friends and i would also shock the **** out of each other with the 300 Volt power supply - god damn that wasn't smart .. lol

We used to fry resistors on a variable power supply. Just turn up the voltage until the thing catches on fire. Works for diodes too.

Yes, an ohm is a measurement of resistance for a speaker. 4ohms and below are very common in car audio, 8-16ohms are common for home audio. Do a search on "Ohm's Law" for the full picture.
