If you're interested in that amp, MMExpress has it for $326.

My box is WAAAAAY too small on interior volume, but hopefully I will get to solve that when the weather warms up (think: fiberglass!). I've got two Infinity 10s I'm dying to put in - they've been in my closet for months now, just waiting for a nice 'glass home.

Anyway, here's my setup, and shot showing how much cargo room I still have (quite a bit). Plus, it's all removeable in about 5 minutes if I need to:

that box looks like it has 1.5/2.0 cu ft. thats plenty for a infinity sub. i'm thinking of doing a false floor for the amps, possible removing the spare and putting the sub in the false floor also. they also sell covers for the RF amps to make it look like one huge amp

The sub box is VERY deceiving. Actual volume after the sub is in is probably only .5 cubes. Mostly because it's not square, like it looks. The back of it is angled to clear the wheel well, and the space is dramatically reduced because of it. It's all MDF, so it's angular in the back. And it's also VERY shallow - only about 6 inches deep inside - take a closer look, you'll see. I can easily get 2 cubes if I made the back from 'glass molded to the shape of the panel - and that's the upcoming plan.

I know about the RF coupler to make it look like one amp. I didn't know about when I did the install, tho - and the distro blocks wouldn't fit under it anyway. But I might re-work the whole thing when I finally get to making a better enclosure. Actually, I'm considering just chucking the amps under the front seats to gain a few more inches of cargo space.

EDIT: Here's a pic of the box during construction - you can clearly see how small it actually is in this shot (as well as how much two of my cats enjoyed it ):

I thought I had a site bookmarked with good intructions on how to do fiberglass, but I can't find it .

I did find this bookmark, though - and it's got lots of good info:

http://www.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/u...2;t=000549;p=1

And this site has a fiberglass forum, also: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/....asp?ForumID=0

Do a web search, and you'll come up with TONS of useful stuff.

You're right.. those are on the 180.2's.. it's the 600.1 that has 0.1%

Bondo and Fiberglass are not the same thing at all.

Fiberglass consists of mat or cloth (mat is like random fluffy glass fibers - think insulation with coarser fibers, cloth is woven glass fibers, as the name implies), and the hardener/resin combination. The mat or cloth is soaked with the resin and allowed to cure - this is the typical fiberglass we all associate with.

Bondo is auto-body filler, and kinda looks like pink paste, a little thicker than spackle or joint compound. It is generally used in fiberglass work to smooth out the surface in prep for painting or vinyl - it can fill in tiny pinholes and imperfections, and can be sanded extremely smooth so paint will look good - that's why they use it in auto body, after all.

There is a product called Kitty Hair, which is a mixture of bondo and chopped fiberglass mat. It can be used to fill in larger gaps - and in places that need filling or refinishing but also need to mainatain some strength - like areas where the bondo might need to be laid on a bit thick.

Bondo as a general rule is not necessary unless the box is VERY lumpy and rough, and if it is going to be painted or vinyled. You don't make a box out of bondo, you make it out of fiberglass mat or cloth (or both) and resin, layer upon layer until the thickness is built up and the strength achieved.
