Took the Radio Flyer down to the shop this last weekend and had new speakers installed in the doors. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! I can actually hear highs - even with the windows down - amazing stuff!

I had Planet Audio P65NEO 2-ways with cross-overs (6.5 inch with detachable tweeters put in the sail) put in the front doors and P6252 2-ways (6.5 inch) put in the back doors. All for 239 bucks installed.

The guy installing the speakers got a good laugh looking at the quality of the stock speakers. One cone was even crushed from the factory. He also commented that the stock radio is pretty good and a lot better then Honda units that clip bad over half volume.

My P5 rocks a little more now! Amp next....

 

how do you like those planet audio's? there are a few biased ppl who sometimes bag on them but i think they are quite good. congrats on your first of many upgrades!

 

The Planet Audio NEO's are very good sounding. I guess the cross-over makes a difference. The rear P6252 are average sounding 2-ways. There are better sounding speakers out there, but as a package deal I am very pleased.

The installer got a kick out of my Guns and Roses CD - showing my age.

Keep it between the lines and under a hundred...

I don't have picts of the speakers. They are installed under the factory grills so you can't see much.
