eDesign Rocks!

I finally got my full system set-up, and I have just one thing to say, eDesign ROCKS! I am so happy with my eDesign/Maxxbling custom enclosure. Check my page (the www button) for pictures, i'll need to take some in the daylight.

For those interested now, it's hooked up to a JL audio 250/1 and an Alpine 7995 HU.

I looked at a bunch of different subs, listened to them, and ended up buying the one sub I had never heard, and I am so glad that I did.

Hey what type of enclosure you got them in hawaiian? And amp?
I'm thinking of a single e12k in a 2.0CF vented box tuned to around 28-32Hz...
either that or a beyond audio x-one

we got the two e10k's in a sealed 1cuft box (common chamber), juiced by an autotek ss 750.1 class d amp. the sq on these subs is really nice, and we've gotten a good amount of spl on them as well.

i haven't heard any reports on the x-one yet, but i would like to try the beyond audio's inhumans in my next ride. i dunno tho, shipping to hawaii would be murder on the inhumans.

if you go the x-one, let us know how they sound.

Hawiian, can you give me some info on where to get the e-design subs. They sound like the best bang for the buck.

Planning and soon to be shopping. Thanks

Thanks for the site info. What kind of amp and power do you have running to these subs?

I put my order in for a single eDesigns E12K-d2 from our Canadian Distributor

Damn well better be worth every penny of the $315cdn. Yes I know that sounds like too much, but it would actually cost MORE buying it direct. Stupid US-Can border fees.

I would have gone with the X-One but they're the same price and my friend is already running a pair. Got to be different

Should be in by the beginning of December

It should make the most out of the power from my MTX Thunder304 (rated 325rms bridged)

I am running a JL Audio MonoBlock 250 into the dual voice coil 4ohm woofer. The JL is rated at 250rms, but I hear that they under rate a little bit and it feels like it's pushing more then that.

The sub is rated at 300w rms.

that mtx thunder amp, how many channels? just curious cause you got a 2ohm dvc sub, is that the wiring options you wanted? i am not familiar with that particular amp, so i don't know exactly what the deal is.

and DAMN. $315cdn is cheaper than buying direct from ed? are fees/shipping that expensive? wait, what does $315cdn calculate to in usd?
